Boutique dental laboratory · Matthews, North Carolina

Your case is made by a small team of ceramists.

Not a production floor, and not sent overseas. Every restoration that leaves this lab is designed and layered by hand, by a small team led by Carolynn Capps, CDT, who has spent thirty-three years at the bench specializing in all‑ceramics.

Restorations

A small lab, deliberately.

She Designs is a full restorative laboratory built around aesthetic work. Fixed and removable, digital and analog, with anterior cases overseen personally by Carolynn.

i

All‑ceramic

Crowns, bridges, inlays and onlays in lithium disilicate and zirconia, layered to sit quietly next to natural dentition.

ii

Implant‑supported

Screw‑retained and cemented restorations, custom abutments, and full‑arch cases.

iii

Veneers

Feldspathic and pressed. The work this lab was founded on, and the work it is still known for.

iv

Night guards

To protect the work once it is seated. Hard, soft, and dual‑laminate.

Digital workflow

Send a scan. Any scanner.

We accept all digital scans, alongside conventional impressions. Thirty-three years across both digital and analog means a case is never turned away because of how it arrives.

The founder

Carolynn Capps, CDT

I began my dental career in 1993 as a ceramist at a small family‑owned laboratory in Tampa, fabricating feldspathic veneers by the platinum foil technique. I earned my CDT in 2011 with a specialty in ceramics, and I am working on my Master CDT now.

I opened She Designs in 2020. This industry is predominantly male, and I wanted a business that reflected and represented the women in it. That is where the pink and the gold come from.

Outside the lab I am a mom, a sister, a daughter, and a Grammie to three. I love what I do, and I look forward to creating beautiful smiles for your patients.

“She is clothed in strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.” Proverbs 31:25
